Acceptable Use Policy

ĀYŌDÈ (The Organization for the Advancement of Youth through Opportunities in Digital Education) is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all users. This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) sets expectations for responsible use of ĀYŌDÈ’s services (“Services”).
By using ĀYŌDÈ’s Services, you agree to comply with this Policy.
1. Respectful Behavior
Users must treat others with kindness, patience, and respect.
Prohibited behaviors include:
- Harassment, bullying, intimidation, or threatening behavior.
- Discrimination or hate speech based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
- Personal attacks or inflammatory remarks.
- Posting or sharing offensive, obscene, or inappropriate content.
2. Lawful and Appropriate Use
Users must comply with all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws.
Prohibited activities include:
- Unauthorized access or attempted access to any system, data, or account.
- Disruption of Services or introduction of malware.
- Fraudulent activity or misrepresentation.
- Circumventing security measures or usage limits.
Operational Misuse
Users may not:
- Use bots, scrapers, crawlers, browser extensions, monitoring tools, or other automated methods to access, collect from, monitor, or interact with the Services except as expressly authorized by ĀYŌDÈ.
- Send spam, advertisements, chain letters, mass solicitations, or other unauthorized promotional communications through the Services.
- Collect, harvest, or compile email addresses, contact details, or other personal data from the Services for mailing lists, marketing, or similar bulk-contact purposes.
- Use distribution lists, group aliases, mass messaging, or similar mechanisms through the Services in a way that is abusive, unauthorized, or disruptive.
- Falsely state or imply affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from ĀYŌDÈ or any other person or organization.
- Buy, sell, transfer, trade, reserve, or hold usernames, identifiers, addresses, or similar account spaces for speculative, misleading, abusive, or placeholder purposes.
- Frame, mirror, hotlink, or otherwise reuse parts of the Services or their non-hypertext content in a way that bypasses intended presentation, attribution, or access controls.
- Submit requests, traffic, or workloads that are excessive, abusive, or intended to impair the availability, integrity, or performance of the Services or supporting infrastructure.
- Assist, enable, instruct, or encourage any other person to violate this Policy or other applicable ĀYŌDÈ terms and policies.
3. Academic Integrity
ĀYŌDÈ’s Services support learning and growth.
Prohibited conduct includes:
- Cheating or plagiarism.
- Submitting work that is not your own without proper attribution.
- Misrepresenting identity or credentials.
4. Privacy and Security
Users must respect the privacy and security of others.
Prohibited actions include:
- Sharing personal or sensitive information about others without their consent.
- Attempting to access or misuse confidential data.
- Misusing user accounts or login credentials.
5. Responsible Use of Technology
Users may not:
- Deploy malware or harmful code.
- Interfere with the integrity or performance of ĀYŌDÈ’s Services.
- Use the Services for unauthorized commercial purposes or advertising.
6. Reporting Violations
ĀYŌDÈ encourages users to report suspected violations of this Policy.

- The date and time of the incident.
7. Enforcement and Consequences
ĀYŌDÈ reserves the right to investigate and respond to reported violations.
ĀYŌDÈ may remove, redact, restrict, edit, or otherwise modify content; suspend, limit, or terminate accounts or access; refer matters to law enforcement or other appropriate authorities; cooperate with investigations or legal process; and pursue available remedies to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Potential consequences include:
- Providing a warning.
- Removing content.
- Temporarily or permanently suspending user accounts.
- Notifying educational institutions, parents, or guardians (if applicable).
- Reporting unlawful activity to authorities.
ĀYŌDÈ will determine enforcement actions based on the nature and severity of the violation.
8. Appeals
Users who believe enforcement actions were made in error may request a review by contacting:

ĀYŌDÈ will review and respond to appeals in a timely manner.
9. Changes to This Policy
ĀYŌDÈ may update this Policy from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on our website. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
