Communications and SMS Policy

Effective Date: May 27, 2026

This Communications and SMS Policy explains how ĀYŌDÈ uses text messaging and similar direct communications in connection with its website, applications, and services (collectively, the “Services”). This Policy supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Scope of Communications

ĀYŌDÈ may use SMS or similar mobile messaging channels for transactional, operational, and security-related communications, including:

Unless we explicitly state otherwise in a separate consent flow, these messages are not intended for unsolicited marketing or promotional campaigns.

Where technically feasible, these messages are intended to identify ĀYŌDÈ as the sender and make clear whether the message relates to authentication, security, or another transactional account purpose.

You will receive SMS messages from us only if you provide a mobile phone number and affirmatively enable, request, or otherwise consent to phone-based messaging for a supported feature, such as SMS multi-factor authentication or account recovery.

By enabling an SMS-based feature, you authorize ĀYŌDÈ and its service providers to send you transactional text messages using automated technology where permitted by law. Consent to receive these messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services from ĀYŌDÈ, but some features may be unavailable unless you enable an approved authentication or notification method.

You are responsible for ensuring that the phone number you provide is accurate, current, and able to receive messages from us.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your account activity and the features you use. You may receive one or more messages when:

We do not guarantee any minimum or maximum number of messages.

4. Charges and Carrier Terms

Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan and carrier agreement. ĀYŌDÈ does not charge a separate fee for receiving transactional SMS messages unless expressly stated otherwise.

Wireless carriers and messaging intermediaries may impose their own terms, limitations, delivery rules, or technical restrictions. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Opt-Out, Disablement, and Help

You may disable SMS-based authentication or remove your phone number through available account settings, subject to any requirement that you first configure another approved authentication method.

If a sending channel supports reply commands, you may also be able to:

If reply commands are not supported for a particular sender, or if you need assistance, contact us using the information below. Disabling or opting out of SMS may prevent you from using features that depend on phone-based verification or text-message delivery.

6. Third-Party Providers and Carriers

To send transactional communications, ĀYŌDÈ may use third-party providers such as cloud messaging, authentication, telecommunications, or infrastructure vendors, including Amazon Web Services, as well as participating mobile carriers and their downstream service providers.

Those providers may process your phone number, message content, delivery status, timestamps, device metadata, and related technical information as needed to transmit, secure, troubleshoot, and document communications.

7. Privacy and Security Limitations of SMS

SMS is not end-to-end encrypted and is generally less secure than authenticator applications or hardware-based authentication methods. Messages may be delayed, intercepted, misdirected, or accessed by:

For that reason, you should not rely on SMS as the sole protection for highly sensitive accounts where a stronger authentication method is available.

8. Records, Abuse Prevention, and Compliance

We may log and retain information about communications, delivery attempts, opt-in events, opt-out events, authentication events, and related account activity to operate the Services, investigate abuse, maintain security, document consent, and comply with legal or regulatory obligations.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The most current version will be posted on our website. By continuing to use SMS-enabled features after changes become effective, you agree to the revised Policy.
