Contributor Agreement
Effective Date: April 11, 2025
ĀYŌDÈ (The Organization for the Advancement of Youth through Opportunities in Digital Education) encourages contributions from students, educators, parents, and community members. This Contributor Agreement (“Agreement”) explains the terms under which you may submit content or other contributions (“Contributions”) to ĀYŌDÈ.
By submitting any Contribution, you agree to the terms of this Agreement.
1. Scope of Contributions
This Agreement applies to all types of Contributions, including but not limited to:
- Written content
- Code or software
- Designs or graphics
- Educational materials
- Feedback or suggestions
- Audio, video, or multimedia content
2. Copyright and Ownership
You retain full ownership of the copyright in any Contribution you submit to ĀYŌDÈ.
ĀYŌDÈ does not claim ownership of your Contributions.
By submitting a Contribution, you grant ĀYŌDÈ a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free license to:
- Store, use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, publicly perform, and publicly display your Contribution for educational and operational purposes.
- Incorporate your Contribution into current or future ĀYŌDÈ projects, products, or services.
3. Your Responsibilities
By submitting a Contribution, you represent and warrant that:
- You own or control all rights in and to your Contribution.
- Your Contribution does not infringe upon the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.
- Your Contribution complies with ĀYŌDÈ’s Acceptable Use Policy and applicable laws.
4. Attribution
ĀYŌDÈ may, but is not required to, provide attribution to you for your Contribution. Attribution is at ĀYŌDÈ’s sole discretion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
For collaborative projects, attribution may be collective.
5. No Compensation
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Contributions are provided voluntarily and without expectation of compensation.
6. Removal or Modification of Contributions
ĀYŌDÈ reserves the right to remove or modify any Contribution at any time for any reason, including violations of this Agreement or the Acceptable Use Policy.
7. Withdrawal of Contributions
You may request that ĀYŌDÈ remove your Contribution by contacting us at support@ayode.institute. ĀYŌDÈ will review such requests on a case-by-case basis, considering operational, legal, and technical factors.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Services and any Contributions you submit are also subject to our Privacy Policy.
9. Appeals and Dispute Resolution
If you believe a decision regarding your Contribution was made in error, you may request a review by contacting:
ĀYŌDÈ will review and respond to appeals in a timely manner.
10. Changes to This Agreement
ĀYŌDÈ may update this Contributor Agreement from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on our website. Continued Contributions after changes become effective constitute your acceptance of the updated Agreement.
